Terms of use
Last updated October 01, 2026
These terms are the agreement between your club and Karminel Ltd (“we”), which runs Dojoto. By creating a club or accepting an invitation, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your club.
1. The service
Dojoto is a web app for martial arts clubs to record attendance and monthly fees. It does exactly that on purpose: it does not take payments, and students do not get accounts.
2. Accounts
- The sensei who creates a club is its owner. The owner can invite other senseis, make them owners, and remove them.
- Each sensei keeps their password to themselves and tells us at once if they think someone else used their account.
- The club is responsible for what its senseis do in Dojoto.
3. Price
Dojoto is in early access. A club's first 3 months are free. After that, the price is €4 per club per month. We will tell you before you are ever charged; nothing is charged automatically, and you can stop at any time.
4. Your club's data
Everything your club enters (students, attendance, payments, photos) remains your club's. You can export it as a spreadsheet at any time. Your club is responsible for:
- having a lawful basis to record its students' data, and telling students or their parents that it uses Dojoto;
- having a parent's consent before adding a child's photo, where the law requires it;
- not entering data Dojoto does not need, such as health information.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Dojoto to break the law, to store other people's data without the right to, to attack or overload the service, or to access clubs that are not yours.
6. How we process your club's data
For your students' data your club is the controller and we are its processor. This section is our data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. We:
- process the data only to provide Dojoto to your club, following your club's instructions as expressed through the app;
- make sure everyone who can access it is bound to confidentiality;
- protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, described in the privacy policy;
- use only the service providers listed in the privacy policy, and tell you before adding or replacing one, so you can object;
- help your club answer requests from students and parents, and with its other obligations under the GDPR;
- tell your club without undue delay if its data is breached;
- delete your club's data when its account is closed, after giving you the chance to export it;
- give your club the information it needs to check that we keep these commitments.
7. Availability
We work to keep Dojoto running and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features; we will not remove attendance or fee tracking.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what your club paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
9. Ending
You can stop using Dojoto at any time and ask us to close your club's account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can. When an account is closed, we delete its data within 30 days.
10. Changes to these terms
We will email club owners about any important change at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law, and disputes go to the competent court in Sofia. Questions: info@dojoto.net.
