When a student hands you cash, tap their face. The payment is recorded with the amount and the sensei who took it. Someone away for the month? Skip it, and they do not show up as unpaid.

What we compete with
Paper and spreadsheets. Not dojo management software.
Dojoto is not a dojo management system and does not try to be one. Those systems do online payments, member apps, bookings and belts. Dojoto replaces the notebook by the door and the spreadsheet at home, and nothing more.
The notebook
- Quick on the mat, but it lives in one bag.

The spreadsheet
- Adds up the month, if someone keeps it up to date.
- Tiny cells on a phone, two minutes before training.

Questions senseis ask
Before you ask
Do my students or their parents need to install anything?
No. Only senseis sign in. Students and parents never see Dojoto; you tap for them.
We are three senseis. Can we all use it?
Yes. Each sensei signs in on their own phone and sees the groups they teach. When one of you taps, the others' screens update on their own. The owner of the club sees everything.
I already have 60 students in a spreadsheet. Do I type them in again?
No. Upload the spreadsheet, or a photo of your paper list, and Dojoto reads the names, phones and groups out of it. You check the result and tick who to import.
Our groups pay different fees. Some students have a discount.
Set a fee for the club, another for any group, and a personal one for any student. When you mark a payment, the right amount is recorded.
What about a student who is away for a month, or pays for three months at once?
Skip the month from the student's page, so they do not show up as unpaid. Advance payments are marked month by month on the same page.
A kid from the Tuesday group shows up on Thursday. Can I still mark them?
Yes. Every training lists its own group first, then the rest of the club a tap away. Whoever comes gets a tap and counts.
Our gym is in a basement with bad reception.
Dojoto needs a connection, but a tap is a tiny request and usually gets through. If one does not, the face is outlined in red so you know to tap again.
Can parents pay by card through it?
No, and on purpose. Dojoto records fees paid to you in cash or by bank transfer; it does not move money. That keeps it simple and keeps you out of payment regulations.
We train children. Where does their data go?
On a server in the European Union. Photos are optional; until you add one, a student has a drawn avatar. Students never sign in, and nobody but your club's senseis sees your list. The details are in the privacy policy.
What if I stop using it?
Download your attendance and payments as a spreadsheet at any time. If you close your club's account, its data is deleted within 30 days.
What does it cost?
Your first 3 months are free. After that, €4 a month for the whole club, however many senseis and students. You are told before anything is charged.
